At Anabela day care  we provide your child a happy, warm, stimulating and secure learning environment. We aim to meet the individual needs of our children, giving them the social skills and confidence they need in their formative years and providing them with a sound platform for transition into school life.

Anabela daycare is situated in west norwood and is registered with Ofsted, whom have rated the quality and standards of our early years provision as Good. We currently cater for up to 24 children on a daily basis up to five years of age and offer full-day sessions for a full-time or part-time position . We are open 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with the exception of bank holidays.

We have friendly, experienced and qualified staff and they hold a current DBS check. We provide a breakfast, mid-morning snack, hot meal cooked in-house for lunch with pudding and a tea-time snack for the children.

The nursery is spread on two floors with two rooms specially designed for children. Children are encouraged to explore all the rooms, which offer a variety of experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, offering best of primary education. Anabela daycare also benefits from a large, secure and outdoor play area, which offers the children opportunity to learn and have fun outdoors.

It is our mission to provide a positive, friendly, stimulating and healthy environment for all children, where key relationships are at the heart of the children’s development. Our vision is that all children in our care will thrive in our homely environment and that their first experience of separation will be positive and will pave the way for their future learning. We aim that children enter school ready to learn; to eventually become productive, well-adjusted members of society.

Most importantly we follow a Child-centered approach, where children’s well-being and safety will always be our paramount concern.

In pursuing our mission we will achieve the following:

Children – Provide opportunities for children to be creative, imaginative and active lifelong learners and to explore, question, experiment and discover new ideas, skills and concepts.

Parents & Carers - Provide peace of mind, enabling parents to leave their children in our care and work in close partnership with them to encourage participation in their child's learning and to ensure a consistent approach to development between home and our setting.

Staff – Maintain stimulating working environment that encourages new initiatives and best practice. Enhance professional and personal development and also provide spontaneous learning opportunities which are identified and recognized as they occur.

Other stakeholders – continue committing to playing a full part in the local community, maintaining our links and affiliations with local groups, professional associations and working collaboratively with professionals from other disciplines to ensure the best outcomes for children and their families.
